Life's Good Surprises

This is first for me! I just received a CASH DIVIDEND from my investment in MERALCO stocks.

It's a small amount but very significant for me. Imagine if I had consistently bought shares of Meralco five years ago? Could have amounted to hundreds of thousands already.

But, it's not too late. I still have some 5 - 10 years accumulating MERALCO shares consistently, monthly and patiently.

Here's my note from my broker:

This is really cool!

Thanks to Truly Rich Club for teaching me to be an investor and make my money GROW.

How To See Your Money Grow

I used to see how "compounding" works to my disadvantage. I used to be buried in debt due to my misused of credit cards. Those were times of frustrations, depressions and panic. I saw how my debt increase rapidly, exponentially due to the compounding interest computations on my unpaid balances.

Thank God, I was set free and the lessons I learned helped me manage my money better these days.

Today, you might be in the same predicament I was before. Buried in debt, unable to make both ends meet. There is a way out. You need a mentor to help you get out of the "rut" and start living, really living the life God has planned for you.

I am mentored by one of the best in financial literacy and of course spiritual literacy as well. I am mentored by Bo Sanchez. Who? yes, Bo Sanchez.

Today I want to share an article he wrote to us, members of his Truly Rich club. We get this kind of notes from him on a regular basis and it helps us GROW our investments in the Stock Market. I can say, with humility, that I have learned to invest in the Philippine Stock market. Yes, the stock market we used to avoid because it is only for the RICH. It's now made available to anybody to wants TO GROW HIS INVESTMENTS.

Compounding is now working for me as I see my investment in the stock market GROW.

You too can make this happen in your life. You are positioned to feel what the members of the Truly Rich Club are experiencing now.

I hope you will gain insight into this article by Bo Sanchez.

Has The Stock Market Gone Up A Lot?

Hey! I've got news for you. The Philippine stock market is a good place to be these days. Here's a post from Bo Sanchez about this. You can start doing what I have done about 8 months ago, invest my money in the stock market on a monthly basis using the "Easy Investment Plan" (EIP) of COL Financials.

You too can get into this by being a Truly Rich Club member. I have been helped a lot by my membership in the truly Rich Club in so many ways.

I pray you too can benefit from the progress we are experiencing in our economy. Let me now show you this very interesting news from my mentor, Bo Sanchez.

I Did It in 2012

I did it! I should have done this 20 years ago and end up a millionaire now. But, you see, we weren't taught how to be a millionaire in school then. It's a good thing we have people who have tested the waters, gone ahead of us and now they are teaching us how to be millionaires.

I am talking about investing in the stock market.

I started investing about four (4) months ago. A simple book written by my mentor, Bo Sanchez, convinced me that I can also do what his maids are doing... investing their hard-earned money in stock market.

Three Things That I Love to Do In My Spare Time

If there is one thing given that is common to all men, it will be "time". We all have 24 hours a day. What we do with our time determines our success or failure.

Time is one thing you can't recover once it expires. So, whenever we have spare time, we should be careful in using it to get the most out of it.

There are Three (3) things that I usually when I have a spare time.

1. Read books. I love reading books. My favorite are inspirational books, religious books, and adventure. The latest that I am reading is a book by Pastor Cesar Castellanos, "Successful Leadership Through the Government of 12". It is about how a leader is formed and focuses more on character than the skill, talent, and abilities of an inspiring leader. Good book to read. My wife, Maritess, and I are enjoying it and is helping us in our leadership role in our church. I love reading books of Bo Sanchez and Robert Kiyosaki.

2. Blogging. Whenever I have time, I blog. As of this writing, I have a spare time while waiting for my turn to teach in our class here at Uno Overseas. I am developing my skills in writing, that's why I am blogging. The ultimate purpose is to prepare me for my "work-at-home" business when I finally retire from secular work. Here's one of my blog: Debt Free Life Philippines.

3. Chat and browse in the net. Recently, I was given an iPad as a gift on my birthday. I discovered that I can use it to chat with my sister in Canada. We are enjoying very minute of it. "Facetime" is Apple's equivalent of Skype. I like Facetime better (I guess I am bias towards Apple). Twice a day, morning and evening, in most cases, we chat. I also love watching Sid Roth and Jim Hockaday in You tube. Nothing beats their supernatural stories about angels and God.

What about you? What do you do in your spare time?

Here's to our life,
Jimmy

My Simple Breakfast Treat

Have you tried ta truly Pilipino breakfast? I would like to introduce you to my fave breakfast menu: Fried dried dulong or sometimes anchovies, with tomato plus steamed rice. I love eating this with a hot cup of coffee.

My cousin, Ate Aida, prepares this for me to take to my office. I usually leave the house early together with my daughters so there's no time to take breakfast at home. I appreciate how she packs the breakfast.
The coffee is an alkaline based coffee since I can't take the usual 3 in 1 coffee of well-known brands.

What a way to start my day in the office. Itadakimasu! (Let's eat)

Life is an adventure,
Jimmy

Blogs That I Regularly Read

This week, Daddy Yashiro is the sponsor of the BC Bloggers Meme about "The Blogs that I Regularly Visit". About two blogs earlier, I was privileged to sponsor the meme called "5 Countries You Want To Visit Before You Retire". I suggest that you join us at BC Bloggers. Maybe you have some good idea you can share with us. We would appreciate it so much.

I have been blogging for more than a year now. I started with zero knowledge and all I wanted was to be able to write an article online. They told me to set up my own "blog".  To help me in blogging, I frequently visit and read the following blogs for ideas, help and more ideas.
