BC Bloggers Meme: 5 Things You Want To Do Before You Get Old

Here goes. I like this because it's really been on my subconscious mind all the time. This time I want to bring it to my conscious mind and share it with you.

So here goes.

First, my dream before I get old is to see Israel. I am believing God for my provision to bring my wife and if possible, my family to that nation so loved by God. I know it will mean a lot to me. I was made to understand that I need at least a hundred thousand pesos per person as my budget. No worries, I can believe God for that.

Secondly, make my second million. I did the first in 2000. As a gift to my wife in our old age, and not to be dependent on our children for support. I guess that's practical. I've seen this in the lives of my in-laws. Such a blessing to see them even give to us in their old age. Me too.

Thirdly, visit my sisters in Canada. This we plan to do next year, God willing. It's such a good idea to once in while think that we can do this. I want to see their beautiful houses, which I only see in Facebook. Go to places where they've been and they've promised to bring us around.

Fourthly, to see my children all settled down properly. Happily married with the right guy. I have three children, two girls and one daughter, hehehe. One is happily married to which I have a handsome grandson, Xander. Two more to go.

Lastly, to see my two income stream a reality. I've recently started investing in stocks as my option for saving money. Long story short, it's been my desire to have a taste of this. My mentor, Bo Sanchez, is helping me in this. The other one is in real estate. I am helping my friend and godson, who owns Aceland  Properties & Development increase their market share in the townhouse market segment.

There you are. I am sure you have your own too.

  2. I want to do #2 as well. I'm not married yet but seeing my relatives & even my bf's parents without income when they retired is quite saddening. Sometimes they look like they're begging money from their children ( T-T). I'm just glad my bf is filial to his parents but still there are times when he can't give them allowance. :/

  5. its good to have a plan. But I want to visit Palestine instead of Israel. Egypt instead of Israel. Jordan Instead of Israel as long as the Jewish state treats the Palestines as second class humans or the way they were treated during the reign of Hitler in Germany.

  10. I believe in your #2. I've seen that problem with my grandparents which sparked sibling rivalries as to who should do this and that. Not that I want to leave my parents alone, we can't provide for them all the time. We are instilling this value to our son so he understands the value of saving at an early age.

Good luck on your second million! By God's grace we will all have the chance to get that!

  16. Bo Sanchez is my mentor too. He is so inspiring. Though we are not making a lot yet, we are getting there. The wisdom and inspiration Bo has reached to us changed a lot of our lifestyle in general. :)

  19. I like the second one "to make another million". At times like this we all need to get different sources of income and I think having shares on stocks and other investments are one of them. but of course we to start in the beginning.
