Travel Has Its Rewards

Travel has its reward. The beautiful places, people and food. My time in Japan these couple of weeks has been very rewarding. I would like to share some of these with you.

The people that I have met were very kind and hospitable. My first time to see Hokkaido and met Mr. Sasaki. He owns a dairy farm and is managing one of the best cooperative in that area.
Mr. Sasaki treating me to an ice cream shop
The famous Hokkaido Ice Cream made from the cows milk from their farms

Then there is the privilege of tasting the famous Sashimi and sushi. I couldn't help but take advantage of the offer.
Tuna, sea urchin, ika (squid), scallops, love it..

One of the highlights of my trip there was to be with our interns who are sacrificing three years of home sickness and loneliness in order to raise money for their family and future plans in life.
And of course, the surprise that sometimes come our way, being billeted in a 5-star hotel at Awaji Island. It was a real treat for my and my staff, Isao san.

These are just some of the amenities when I travel. I couldn't help but thank God for every blessing and favor that come my way when I travel. Indeed life is an adventure.

Your adventurer,
Jimmy

  3. I agree. I also admire their discipline. You can see that from them. That is why "Made In Japan" brands became the most sought-after brands in the world because these are products of their discipline attitude towards excellence. :)

  4. Love Japanese food! I'm surprised to see that you're room is big, but I guess it's because it's a 5-star hotel :) I only went to Japan once, in Yokohama and the hotel room I got was quite small, space saver i guess. But it was really sufficient and had all the luxuries I needed in a room, plus a good view.

It's good that you get to enjoy your work travels. That is small consolation for having to work all the time:)
